Children for Tomorrow
“Children for Tomorrow” is a foundation established by former German tennis professional Stefanie Graf. It supports children and adolescents who have become victims of war, persecution and organized violence.
In Hamburg it funds the Outpatient Clinic for Refugee Children and Adolescents at the University clinic of Hamburg-Eppendorf where traumatized children from crisis ridden areas receive psychological and psychiatric treatment. All treatments are aimed at promoting psychological recovery to enable refugee children to participate in societal reconciliation processes. For all therapies professional interpreters are available. Currently a team of ten multi-professionals offers 180 treatment units and provides treatments for up to 250 patients per year.
