Meet the whole world at Hotel Global
The new interactive exhibition at FEZ-Berlin’s Museum for Children, called Willkommen@HotelGlobal, presents the complex topic of globalisation for young people, inviting them to embark on an unusual journey to explore globalisation for themselves.

The venue is "Hotel Global"
Guests who have already checked in include an African director, a British environmental activist, a chocolate-maker from Austria and Master Mischa Richter from the German shipowner E.R. Schiffahrt. Together with them, the visitors can go on an exciting adventure, crossing the seven seas or crawling into a scientist’s tent in the jungle.

Globalisation for inquisitive minds
At the "Hotel Global" exhibition, young scientists can visit Master Mischa Richter on his container ship bound for Shanghai, or manage the loading process themselves from the dockside. Mischa Richter explains the interplay between global trade and shipping, as well as globalisation – here, the world fits inside a ship. Specially chosen exhibits from E.R. Schiffahrt, such as original uniforms and a captain’s hat, are on display in the exhibition.
