The Fleet of E.R. Schiffahrt
Our fleet consists of 105 vessels in service and under construction in the container, bulk and offshore segments. Including some of the world’s biggest container vessels at 13,100 TEU, highly efficient bulk carriers and most powerful supply ships, our managed fleet ranks among the largest charter shipowners fleets in the world.
Our journey to becoming one of the largest container tonnage providers began with the 2,226 TEU "E.R. Hamburg" in the year 1998. This was as sound an investment as the construction of the six-times larger 13,100 TEU "E.R. Benedetta" in 2011.
Investment decisions were made and market opportunities taken advantage of in our diversification efforts in the bulk shipping and offshore shipping market segments. This continual growth has expanded the carrying capacity of E.R. Schiffahrt’s fleet to more than five million tonnes. And it continues to grow.
