The four 2,824-TEU Sub-Panamax Class container ships were taken into service between 2005 and 2007. They were built under the supervision of E.R. Schiffahrt by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Ltd. in South Korea. Twelve rows of containers can be stowed alongside each other on deck. They are powered by a MAN B & W 7K80 MC-C main engine that develops around 25,000 kW. Ships in this category can be deployed flexibly all over the world.
