The two 5,075-TEU Panamax Class container ships were taken into service in 2004 and 2005. They were built under the supervision of E.R. Schiffahrt by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Ltd. (HSHI) in South Korea. At 32.20 metres these units have the maximum permissible width to pass through the Panama Canal.
